By integrating proven knowledge from the previous models, ALVA offers a perfect balance between performance and user-friendliness.

ALVA's optimized bow shape catches significantly less leaves and seaweed without sacrificing the benefits of the reverse bow design. This innovative design ensures a smooth glide through the water and maximizes efficiency with every paddle stroke.

Multi Chine ✓

The multi chine hull improves tipping stability and compensates for the short boat length in terms of speed. This design ensures balanced handling and enables easy paddling in a variety of conditions.

Beginner-friendly ✓

The redesigned volume distribution ensures that beginners also benefit from outstanding paddling characteristics. ALVA features straightforward handling that gives beginners confidence and helps them to navigate quickly and safely on the water.

Thanks to the bulkheaded fore and aft ship, ALVA allows for trouble-free multi-day trips. This design ensures that the equipment is optimally protected and also increases safety in the event of capsizing.

Engineering - Designed for Efficiency

As with all Deus Delighted models, great attention was paid to the development down to the last detail.

With the help of numerical fluid dynamics simulation, the hull was optimized to get the most out of the compact boat dimensions in terms of speed.

ALVA offers a perfect balance between performance and stability without compromising on design.

Building Process - Stitch & Glue

ALVA is built using the proven Stitch & Glue construction method. This construction technique is beginner-friendly, saves time and makes it possible to build an extremely stiff, light and elegant kayak.

The detailed building manual is designed for beginners and guides you step by step through the entire construction process making building your own kayak an exciting and achievable project.

1. the individual parts are glued together using the puzzle joints - the individual parts are brought to the full length!

2.The hull and deck parts are temporarily sewn together using copper wire - gluing the joints using epoxy resin allows the wires to be removed afterwards!

3.The kayak is laminated on the inside and outside with epoxy resin and fiberglass - the kayak now achieves full stability!

4.The finishing work such as painting, fitting the seat etc. are carried out - the paint provides UV protection and rounds off the look!

5. Ready to go - Off for an adventure on the water!
